These terms govern your use of the GlassWall mobile app and glasswall.app (together, the “platform”), operated by GlassWall in the United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

What GlassWall is

GlassWall is a booking and matchmaking platform that connects players with participating padel clubs and coaches. The clubs — not GlassWall — own and operate the courts, set their prices, schedules, and cancellation policies, and are responsible for their facilities, staff, and services. We provide the technology that lets you find, book, and pay for those services.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old. A person under 16 may use the platform only through, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf.
• Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Bookings and payments

• Prices are set by each club and shown, in full and inclusive of applicable charges, before you confirm. Amounts are in UAE dirhams (AED) unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe and settled to the club. GlassWall does not store your full card number.
• If you choose to save a card, it may be charged for bookings you confirm — including reservations where the charge happens later under conditions shown to you at the time of booking (for example, a held reservation that is charged if seats are not claimed by other players before a stated deadline). We will always tell you at booking when and on what condition a later charge may apply.
• Cancellation and refund rules are set by the club and shown at booking. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other right you have under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) and its regulations.

Coaching

Coaching sessions booked through the platform are delivered by the club’s coaches, not by GlassWall. The session price, timing, and cancellation terms are shown before you book.

Conduct

• Follow the rules of the club you are playing at.
• Report match results honestly. Manipulating results or ratings may lead to score corrections or account suspension.
• Do not abuse, harass, or endanger other players, club staff, or coaches, and do not misuse the platform (including attempts to interfere with its operation or security).

Assumption of risk

Padel is a physical sport and carries an inherent risk of injury. You acknowledge and accept that risk, and you are responsible for ensuring you are fit to play. The safety of the courts and premises is the responsibility of the club operating the venue. This section does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Our role and liability

GlassWall provides the booking platform but does not deliver the sporting, coaching, or facility services themselves — those are provided by the clubs and coaches, who are responsible for them. The platform is provided on a reasonable-effort basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, GlassWall is not liable for the acts or omissions of clubs, coaches, or other players, or for events beyond our reasonable control, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the platform is limited to the amount you paid through the platform for the booking that the claim relates to. We do not exclude or limit liability where UAE law does not allow it — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct — and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or applicable law. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time from the app’s settings, or by emailing support@glasswall.app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that cannot be resolved with us directly will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under UAE law.
